Tien minuten lopen van Frigiliana!
Niet omdraaien als u voor de eerste keer naar de villa rijdt! Het is even wennen om er met de auto te komen, maar het loont absoluut de moeite! Eenmaal gearriveerd zal de eigenaar u wijzen hoe u in tien minuten naar Frigiliana kunt lopen, via een avontuurlijke route door het landschap. Prachtig uitzicht en uitzonderlijke rust, gecombineerd met een comfortabel en smaakvol ingericht huis doet deze villa voelen als een tweede thuis!
Buitenshuis en ligging
Deze nieuwgebouwde, uitzonderlijk rustig gelegen villa ligt tegen een helling tegenover het witte dorp Frigiliana en is omgeven door avocadobomen. De tuin, met ingebouwde barbecue en een goed geproportioneerd privé zwembad van 7x4 meter met Romaanse trap, ligt op een hoger niveau: meer dan genoeg ruimte om te zonnebaden en te genieten van de verbluffend mooie uitzichten over het omringende landschap en over het dorp. De ligstoelen staan klaar! Aangrenzend aan de zitkamer vindt u een overschaduwd terras met de mogelijkheid om buiten te eten en ook weer schitterend uitzicht. Vanaf de weg Frigiliana-Torrox bereikt u de villa met de auto via een verhard pad met enkele steile gedeeltes. Hoewel niet erg bochtig raden wij u toch een auto met tenminste een 1.4cc motor aan.
Naar Frigiliana (3,5 kilometer) is het ongeveer 5 minuten rijden. Wilt u de auto laten staan, dan is er een avontuurlijk route dwars door het ruige landschap zodat u in ongeveer 10 minuten in het dorp bent (goede schoenen zijn nodig want het is ruige route en alleen geschikt bij daglicht want de route is niet verlicht). De beroemde stranden bij het dichtbijgelegen Nerja liggen maar 10 kilometer van hier, een kwartiertje rijden!
In het huis
De comfortabele en gezellige open zit/eetkamer en keuken met uitzicht op Frigiliana geeft via de openslaande tuindeuren toegang tot een overdekt terras. In de zitkamer vindt u een 4-persoons bank, open haard, een schommelstoel, satelliettelevisie en een muziekinstallatie. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met een koelkast/vriezer, een 4-pits keramische kookplaat, oven, magnetron en een vaatwasser. De slaapkamers (een tweepersoonskamer en twee kamers met twee aparte bedden) stralen een rustgevende en warme sfeer uit met pasteltinten en mooie schilderijen. Er is een complete badkamer met douche boven het bad, een wastafel en toilet en een doucheruimte, eveneens met wastafel en toilet. Voor de koelere dagen buiten het seizoen zijn electrische radiatoren en een stookkachel beschikbaar. In het huis is een WIFI internet verbinding aanwezig (zonder extra kosten).

Prachtig uitzicht en op slechts 10 minuten rijden van Frigiliana
Deze mooie villa in rustieke stijl biedt een vredig en landelijk gelegen toevluchtsoord. Geniet hier van een prachtig uitzicht over het landschap tot aan de kust! Deze accommodatie ligt ten noorden van Frigiliana, op 10 minuten rijden van winkels, restaurants en tapasbars, en heeft alles voor een luie vakantie in Andalusië.
Buitenshuis en ligging
Deze mooie halfvrijstaande villa is bereikbaar via een kronkelend, betonnen landweggetje, en toch is het minder dan 10 minuten rijden van Frigiliana (3,7 km) en slechts 20 minuten van de kust bij Nerja en zijn mooie zandstranden (11 km) . Bij aankomst zal uw oog direct vallen op het prachtige uitzicht over het omringende landschap en de Middellandse Zee. De tuin is een weelde aan bloemen, planten, struiken en bomen en biedt diverse zitjes. Er is een privézwembad (4m x 3m en 1.70m diep) en een aangrenzend zonneterras met 4 ligstoelen, terwijl de barbecueplaats de juiste plek is om uzelf 's avonds te vermaken en misschien te genieten van een sangria onder de sterrenhemel. Een volledige douche is handig geplaatst onder het terras bij het zwembad.
Er is een veilige parkeerplaats buiten voor één auto.
In het huis
Het huis villa is comfortabel ingericht, niet luxueus maar gewoon correct, met voldoende faciliteiten. De begane grond bestaat uit een ruime keuken / eetkamer met directe toegang tot een groot terras zodat het gemakkelijk is om buiten te eten. De keuken is uitegrust met koelkast / vriezer, 4-pits gaskookplaat, elektrische oven en magnetron. De wasmachine staat in de doucheruimte in de tuin. De gezellige woonkamer is uitgerust met 2 banken, open haard voor de koelere dagen buiten het seizoen en een grote flatscreen-tv met satellietontvangst. Boven zijn er 3 slaapkamers (1 tweepersoonsbed en 2 tweelingen) en een volledige badkamer met een bad met douche, toilet en wastafel.
Er is gratis WiFi-internetverbinding beschikbaar.

Deze aantrekkelijke villa bevindt zich op een prachtige en rustige locatie in de heuvels van Frigiliana en biedt fantastisch uitzicht op het omliggende landschap, het gebergte Sierra de Tejeda en de zee. Toegang tot de villa verloopt via een smal betonnen pad dat afdaalt van de Frigiliana-weg naar Torrox, wat een perfecte plek biedt om te genieten van rust, stilte en het ongelooflijke uitzicht. Het interieur is ingericht naar een hoge standaard in een sierlijke Andalusische stijl. Buiten biedt het zonovergoten zwembadterras volop ruimte voor iedereen om te ontspannen in de zon, af te koelen met een duik in het zwembad, en er is ook een charmant schaduwrijk gebied voor al fresco dineren. Als je benodigdheden nodig hebt voor de grill of zin hebt in lokale gerechten, ligt het prachtige witte stadje Frigiliana op korte rijafstand. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Villa Francisco in Frigiliana. De routebeschrijving was duidelijk, de ontvangst ter plaatse was hartelijk. Het huis was ruim en bijzonder compleet ingericht. Het uitzicht vanuit het huis verveelde geen moment enbekijk meer

Het uitzicht vanuit het huis verveelde geen moment en van het zwembad hebben we erg genoten. En inderdaad konden we lopen naar Frigiliana; zelfs in het donker durfden we het aan. Kortom: een zeer geslaagde vakantie! Bedankt, en, wie weet, willen we volgend jaar weer!

We spent 2 weeks at villa Francisco. The first with our adult children and their partners and the second just us a retired couple. Booking and communication with agent was very simple and helpful. Access required a car with a decent engine and the cobekijk meer
We spent 2 weeks at villa Francisco. The first with our adult children and their partners and the second just us a retired couple. Booking and communication with agent was very simple and helpful. Access required a car with a decent engine and the confidence to drive on steep windy mountain roads. That said this access is easier than many villas we have stayed at. The villa had plenty of room for 6 adults and was equipped with everything we needed. Much has been said about the walk from the villa to town. It’s mostly on a dirt come concrete track. But half way you need to cross a short steep dry river bed. If we were wearing our uk hiking boots we wouldn’t blink but trying to negotiate this in summer gear and sandals was tricky. Us oldies managed it once. Our kids had no problems. Definitely not a nighttime walk. In the end easier to make the 10 minute drive! Villa and pool were spotless. The owner (Francisco) was around most mornings (early) cleaning and tending his fruit trees. Lovely man and a pleasure to chat to but he doesn’t speak English. Loads of wonderful places to eat in the village and if you want more then Nerja is about 15 minutes drive away. Good choice of big supermarkets. Lots of fridge and freezer space including a separate fridge freezer in the outside kitchen next to the pool, which was very handy. The outside kitchen was really handy and centers around a traditional Spanish BBQ. All in all a fantastic villa which we would happily recommend.

We are a family of 4 with kids aged 14 & 11. The accommodation suited us perfectly, being all on one level. Spacious outside areas provided seating/lounging by the pool or on another terrace with stunning views in all directions. Good wifi and choicebekijk meer

Spacious outside areas provided seating/lounging by the pool or on another terrace with stunning views in all directions. Good wifi and choice of english TV channels. The villa is maintained inside and out to a high standard by the lovely owners, who are on hand. Villa is well situated for accessing main roads for day trips and only a 10 minute drive to Nerja and Burrianna Beach.

Yes, the driveway is challenging when you first arrive but you soon get used to it, and it means the villa is right in the heart of the valley with gorgeous views across to Frigiliana (in the day, you can even walk across the valley into town!). Paco, the owner, was very friendly, I just wish I could speak better Spanish to tell him how lovely his villa is and how amazingly clean and well looked after it is.

When we arrived at the villa and outside areas were spotlessly clean. The villa is really well equipped for cooking meals, and the outside BBQ area was brilliant and we used it most days. Rooms were all really comfortable and had extra blankets etc ibekijk meer

Rooms were all really comfortable and had extra blankets etc if it got a bit cold. Communication was great throughout our stay, the pool was kept clean too which was really nice! Don't let the drive down put you off, it's wide and concrete, and you soon get used to it. Walking down into Frigiliana across the valley is a good walk during the day but you couldn't do it at night. Frigiliana is absolutely stunning and has great bars, shops and restaurants and is really authentic. Overall our stay here has been the best villa holiday we've had in Spain and would highly recommend!

Nous avons habité cette magnifique propriété du 18 mai au 1er juin 2019. La température était exceptionnelle pour des Québécois qui ont plutôt l'habitude des printemps incertains. 6 adultes y cohabitent sans contrainte avec plaisir. La maison est très bien équipée et des terrasses extérieures partiellement recouvertes permettent de se prélasser en tout temps ou d'y festoyer. Paco et sa femme Loli sont très attentionnés et gentils. On nous offre les avocats, les citrons et les nispéros qui poussent sur la propriété. Miam! Tous les équipements fonctionnent, les moustiquaires sont à chaque fenêtre, les ouvertures sont bien sécurisées et il y a amplement de stationnement. On décrit que la route d'accès au gîte est abrupte. En effet, c'est très montagnard mais on s'y fait. C'est très étroit, pentu, et cahoteux. Ça prend la puissance de voiture recommandée et si la garde au sol est basse, (nous avions une Mercedes B200), il faut aller lentement pour ne pas frotter le sol. Cependant, cette petite épreuve vaut la peine: l'endroit est magnifique et la vue sur Frigiliana imparable. Malgré qu'on soit à la campagne, les chiens des environs jappent beaucoup la nuit. Certains peuvent être incommodés. Prévoyez en conséquence. Il est effectivement possible de se rendre au village à pieds mais faites-vous montrer le chemin! Autrement, pour l'avoir vécu, ça devient un 45 minutes de Spartan Race plutôt qu'une déambulation de 15 minutes. Pour les amateurs de piscine, soyez rassurés: Paco vient aux 2 jours tôt le matin pour entretenir la piscine et les alentours. Les chaises longues sont de bonne qualité et il a changé l'ensemble patio d'une des terrasses pendant notre séjour avec les parasols. Certains commentaires antérieurs font d'un rapport qualité-prix discutable. Nous aimerions dire que nous sommes expérimentés dans ce genre de location en Europe. Pour nous, la dépense est totalement justifiée. Nous reviendrions sans hésitation. Note: les propriétaires sont unilingues espagnols. De parler la langue est un atout. Merci Paco et Loli.

(He took us to the nearest supermarket because we arrived on a Sunday) He loves his plants and his villa and this shows. It is immaculate and extremely well equipped and feels like a holiday home not a rental. The pool has filters which automatically come on every evening. We found the one level great and the open plan kitchen/living room really practical. Outside the views are to die for. We sat listening to crickets goat bells and an amusing ass/mule who lives on the hillside and is quite vocal. The dogs barking are a bit distracting but you would hear these anywhere in Frigiliana. You can walk to the village on foot-steep in places but doable. Loved it here are no downsides except the access road which is in bad condition and steep in places. You will need more than a Fiat 500 for those hills!

The area has a lot to offer especially a little village called El Acebuchal with a interesting history and a adventurous drive to it . The food at the one restaurant has a old fashion menu . Including rabbit , oxtail and wild boar . We found the beach at Torrox Costa better than Nerja due to the water quality . We have had a lovely 10 days holiday here . Die Gehentfernung zum Dorf ist eher 30 Minuten und um Dunklen nicht machbar, aber wenn man sich an die Anfahrt gewöhnt hat ist es auch mit den Auto kein Problem unterwegs zu sein.

We so enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was peaceful and idyllic. What a fantastic position looking over to Frigiliana. The villa is beautifully furnished and of a high standard. The pool is lovely and clean and the outdoor kitchen is perfect for a bekijk meer

The pool is lovely and clean and the outdoor kitchen is perfect for a family gathering around the pool. The various places to sit outdoors at the villas are perfect, if you want the sun or shade there is always somewhere to tuck yourself away with a good book. It's perfect for a peaceful holiday if you like to be off the beaten track.

Villa Francisco is a perfect place to have peaceful and relaxing vacation. The location is great. You are only 10 min walk away from the village of Frigiliana, but still in perfect privacy and away from the rush. The private pool area with attached barbecue gives more value to Villa. We had many nice evenings sitting close to the pool, having barbecue, and admiring the beautiful scenery of the valley and the village! We met the owner every now and then while he came to attend his avocado and mango trees, which surrounded the Villa. He was very helpful and kind. Inside the Villa there is everything there needs to be. We made food mostly ourselves, and kitchen was well equipped, Wi-Fi works and TV as well. Two bathrooms with showers is a luxury! You can even play table tennis on the ground floor a terrace :) The only thing that was not so nice, was the road. It takes 15 minutes by car from Frigiliana to villa. At the first time, the last 800 meters down to the villa is a real adventure,
